FluxNFC Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FluxNFC, an app for reading and writing NFC tags, collects, uses and protects your information when writing text, URLs, phone, Wi-Fi, location and other data, and when cloning tags.

1. Data collection and purpose
The app works mostly locally. To perform specific writes, we use the following information:
- Text and URLs: collected only through your typing, to be encoded onto the tag.
- Phone: the number is typed by you in the app. We do not access your contacts.
- Wi-Fi: the app can scan nearby networks (name/SSID) to help you create the tag. The password is typed by you and may be remembered locally on the device for reuse.
- Location: used exclusively to obtain coordinates (latitude, longitude) when you pick a point on the map to write to a tag, and to allow Wi-Fi network scanning (an Android requirement for scanning).
2. Data storage
- Local processing: the data you write to tags is not sent to our servers. It is processed on your device and written directly to the tag chip.
- History and Wi-Fi passwords: stored only in your device's internal memory. You can delete them anytime in Settings → "Clear logs".
3. Required permissions
- NFC: essential for reading and writing tags.
- Location: required to write a location and to scan Wi-Fi networks.
- Wi-Fi (state/change): required to list nearby networks when creating a Wi-Fi tag.
- Internet: required to show ads and the map.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep the app free, we show ads through Google AdMob. By using the app, you acknowledge that AdMob may collect and process data to serve ads.
- Data collected by AdMob: device advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / IDFA), cookies, usage data and IP address.
- Purpose: serve relevant ads, limit repetition and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Control: you can manage or disable ad personalization in your operating system settings.
5. International data transfer
As AdMob is a global service of Google LLC, the technical data above may be transferred and processed on servers outside your country, in compliance with LGPD and GDPR.
6. Security
Data written to an NFC tag is not encrypted by default. Anyone with an NFC reader and physical proximity to the tag can read the written content (such as Wi-Fi passwords or phone numbers).
7. Your rights
You have full control over your data. As we do not store it on our own servers, deletion consists of:
- Clearing the history in Settings → "Clear logs".
- Clearing the app data in your system settings.
- Rewriting or replacing the content of your NFC tags.
